Hello All, my name is Brock, a former Mesa police officer who was hit by a car while on active duty over twenty years ago, as a result I suffered injuries that led to a ten year addiction with opiates that tore apart my life. When I got clean I made it my life goal to help others that were in my position. That's when I started the fentanyl project. The fentanyl project is unique in that we go directly to the source of the opioid or fentanyl epidemic and that is on the street where people need the most help, and the active addiction rates are extremely high. Right now we’re seeing an unprecedented amount of death from fentanyl epidemic from ages as young as thirteen. The Fentanyl project hopes to change that. Our goal is to save lives and decrease potential harms associated with substance use. The project is used as a medium to educate the public about the dangers of fentanyl. We personalize this epidemic through street level videos, testimonials and interviews. “The Fentanyl Project'' also allows us to leverage life saving tools and strategies that reduce addictions in our community. These tools include Naloxone and Narcan distribution kits which temporarily stops an overdose, access to test strips and the removal of stigma and barriers associated with seeking treatment, addiction and homelessness. Not only that but we provide supplies such as hygiene and dental kits, protein bars, water, socks and clothes, and many other essential needs that people utilize on a daily basis. Because we are attached to the border, Arizona is the first line of defense. Our goal with this page is to help raise money so we can keep going and distributing supplies to the community and save lives and make an impact! We can't do it without you!
