Support the Family of Trooper Nicholas P. Cayton
Yesterday, tragedy struck our community.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is mourning the loss of Trooper Nicholas P. Cayton of the Canfield Post, who tragically lost his life while serving and protecting others.
While assisting a disabled commercial vehicle on State Route 11 south of U.S. 224 in Canfield, Ohio, Trooper Cayton was struck by a semi-truck while sitting in his cruiser. Despite the swift response of first responders, he did not survive.
Nick was not only a dedicated trooper but also a loving husband, father, son, and friend. He leaves behind his beautiful wife and their two children, whose lives will never be the same.
As the family faces unimaginable heartbreak, we are asking our community to come together to support them. Instead of sending flowers, please consider donating to help ease the financial burden of funeral expenses, childcare, and ongoing support for his wife and children.
Every contribution, big or small, will make a difference for this beautiful family as they navigate the difficult days ahead.
Please share this link and keep the Cayton family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support.
