Support the family of Scott Harter

The Harter family is celebrating the life and mourning the loss of Scott Harter, who lost his life on May 6th after receiving a diagnosis only a few weeks before that he had aggressive liver cancer. Many of you have asked how you can support Ann during this time and what she needs most. If you followed Scott’s end of life journey, you know about his extended hospitalizations and medical care prior to his death. And, if you are acquainted with the family, you are also aware his was the primary source of income for the family. Ann is assessing what requires her focus in the immediate aftermath of Scott’s death and how best to accommodate the many kind offers of financial and other practical help. We do know there are expected medical, funeral, legal, and ongoing household expenses while Ann transitions into the next chapter of her life without Scott.
