Charles Douglas Taylor III, 32, passed away unexpectedly at home due to hypertensive cardiovascular disease on Sunday, June 27, 2021, on St. Simons Island. He leaves behind a wife, Tifani Kei Eldon and 3 year old son, Charley Taylor.


Douglas was born October 5, 1988, in Brunswick, GA. He is the son of Charles Douglas Taylor Jr and Janice Stutts Taylor. Douglas graduated from Glynn Academy in 2007 followed by Ogeechee Technical College and Altamaha Technical College for welding certification. Douglas was an accomplished swimmer in his youth who went on to become a skilled carpenter. He was a devoted father who cherished spending time with his family, enjoying nature, and visiting Fort Frederica frequently, where his grandfather was born on the family property before it was a national park. He was a sixth-generation lifelong resident of St. Simons Island.
