Support the Ethiopian National Association of the Deafblind

The Ethiopian National Association of the Deafblind (ENADB) is a nonprofit organization based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Its mission is to empower people with deafblindness to live healthy, independent, and fulfilling lives. ENADB serves individuals of all ages, offering personalized services that support the unique needs of each person.

As the only organization in the country dedicated specifically to the Deafblind community, ENADB faces a huge challenge: reaching and supporting every Deafblind person across Ethiopia. The demand is vast, and the resources are far too limited.

In a country of over 120 million people, where poverty and lack of access already create enormous barriers, ENADB stands alone. There are thousands of Deafblind people across Ethiopia still living in isolation, unseen and unheard, simply because there are not enough resources to reach them.

Being a nonprofit, ENADB relies on donations to keep its programs running. Support is needed for essential items like communication tools, mobility aids, educational materials for children, and outreach efforts to expand into more regions.

Because the U.S. dollar goes a long way in Ethiopia, even small donations can change many lives.

Deafblind people in Ethiopia are not helpless. They are capable, determined, and full of potential. Let’s give them the tools, resources, and recognition they deserve to thrive.
