Hi, I’m Devon, and I’ve had the privilege of working alongside the incredible team as General Manager at Ember & Ash.

On the evening of June 24, just after dinner service, our restaurant experienced a fire that has forced us to temporarily close while the damage is assessed and repairs begin. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, but overnight our team lost the place where we earn our living.

Like so many independent restaurants, our team is made up of people who depend on hourly wages and tips. Servers, bartenders, cooks, dishwashers, and support staff who work incredibly hard every day and rely on those paychecks to cover rent, groceries, childcare, transportation, and everyday life.

Over the last few weeks, so many guests, friends, neighbors, and fellow restaurant workers have reached out asking how they could help. This fundraiser is an answer to that question.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward supporting the hourly employees of Ember & Ash while we navigate this unexpected closure. Our hope is simply to help ease some of the financial burden until everyone is able to get back to doing what they love.
