Support the Dunham Family

Hi, everyone. My name is Katrina Flynn and I am Daniel Dunham’s sister-in-law. I am here to share some updates about Dan and to ask for support.

On the morning of Thursday, May 9th, my sister Chelsea woke up to the horrific sight of finding Dan unresponsive on the bathroom floor. Dan was rushed to the ER and is now in the ICU with a severe case of streptococcal meningitis. Dan is not awake yet, and is in a medically induced coma to allow time for the antibiotics to fight the infection. He has been fighting very hard for the last few days, and we have seen several good signs of recovery. But most recently, we are having some set backs and hoping he will make it through.

Dan is surrounded by his wife, family, lots of loved ones, and an incredible medical staff. We are all hoping and praying for a miracle. But it is still so early to tell what will happen. We have very little indication of how long Dan will be in the hospital or when he will wake up, and our family has a long battle ahead of us.

If you are able to donate, any amount will help as Dan and Chelsea will both not be able to work for a while. Your contribution will help towards future medical expenses, food deliveries and groceries, day care for Nora, gas back and forth to hospital, and other various things to keep the house running smoothly.
