✊ Help Fund The Dept. of Insubordination: Art Show & Fundraiser for The Trevor Project
The Department of Insubordination is an artist collective using creativity as resistance. We’re organizing an art show and sale this November to fight f*ascism, build community, and raise funds for The Trevor Project — a vital resource for LGBTQ+ youth.
This show is our response to the dangerous erasure happening right now.
The current administration is systematically removing words like “transgender,” “disability,” “pronoun,” “race,” and “ethnicity” from official government communications.
We refuse to stay silent. We’re inviting artists and makers from around the world to submit creative works that center these banned words — reclaiming them through art, craft, and storytelling.
These works will be exhibited and sold in our Dept. of Insubordination Art & Craft Show in November.
90% of all sales will be donated directly to The Trevor Project
10% will go toward production costs (space rental, printing, installation)
Why We Need Your Help
To make this event possible — and accessible — we’re raising funds for:
* Exhibition space & installation costs
* Materials for signage, print, and promo
* Stipends for artists who need support to participate
Every donation helps us amplify artists’ voices and raise real support for LGBTQ+ youth in crisis.
