Early on the morning of January 25, 2025, a fire engulfed a unit in 1807 Newton St NW and, sadly, a wonderful and kind neighbor, Arely, perished in the fire. Arely leaves behind a daughter and more information about how to support her daughter can be found below.

Thankfully the rest of the tenants are all physically okay, however, they have all been displaced for the foreseeable future and could use support from our community.
