Little did they know, starting on September 23, Dominic, Cassidy, and Skyler’s lives would forever be changed through a rare medical condition that rocked their lives and those around them. Dominic started feeling under the weather, thinking it was a sinus infection, starting treatment immediately. His symptoms progressed quickly, and a diagnosis of cavernous sinus thrombosis was discovered. This was a rapid, nasty disease that ended up taking his life in just 6 short days.

Dominic, Cassidy and Skyler had their whole lives ahead of them, as Dominic and Cassidy were newlyweds, married in June. Cassidy graduated Nursing School in August and was set to start her new job when Dominic became sick.
