On Sunday, November 30, 2025, Sgt CruzAcencio, Oscar, A Marine stationed at MCAS Yuma, and his family (Jackie, his wife, and three young children, Arya, Ayden, and Atlas) were involved in a devastating head-on collision in Julian, California. The Marine and two of the children are now hospitalized with serious injuries. Tragically, their oldest child, Arya, did not survive the accident.
This heartbreaking event happened at a time when the family was already in transition. As they were preparing to leave the Marine Corps and begin the next chapter of their lives, all their belongings were packed and on the road. Now, with nothing but what they had with them that day, they are facing the unimaginable: recovering from life-altering injuries while grieving the loss of a precious child.
We are asking for help so this family can focus on healing, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, without the crushing worry of how they will manage basic needs. Donations will go toward transportation, meals, and child-care support.
If you are able, please consider supporting this family as they try to find their footing in the aftermath of a tragedy no family should ever endure. Your compassion, your prayers, and your generosity mean more than words can say.
Thank you for helping lift them up during the darkest moments of their lives.
