Drew Creek (son of Adam and Christie Creek) was in a serious vehicle accident where his truck rolled 5 times on April 29th while working in Utah. He was taken by ambulance to the local hospital and then life flighted to the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City where he remains.
While there, doctors learned that his condition was not the result of the accident but believed he had cancer in his chest and brain which caused him to have a seizure while driving. After more testing, the family was relieved to learn it was not cancer but a severe bacterial infection that had caused abscesses to grow in both areas. Drew had to undergo procedures, including a drain placed in his brain to relieve pressure, and continues to fight every day through recovery with incredible strength.
Through it all, the Creek family has been completely overwhelmed by the love and support they have received from their friends, family, and the amazing communities of Charleston, Paris, and Subiaco Academy. Your prayers, messages, financial support and kindness have carried them through some of the hardest days of their lives but unfortunately, they still have many more ahead of them. Adam and Christie are at Drew’s side in the hospital everyday and are currently staying in Salt Lake City with their son.
This GoFundMe page was started by friends of the family to help them stay with their son, show them support and also so they can focus on Drew and not worry about affording lodging and food. Please help this sweet family while they deal with this very scary and unfortunate situation.
