Hey beautiful beings! It’s Jah Hendo & Sunny with some of the Farmily here as well! Writing from the heart to share something really special with you.

We’re co-creating a sacred new ceremonial space just a short walk from the Mystical Yoga Farm — and we need your support to make it happen.

Our dear brother (7-cup) Scott, who’s been part of our journey for many years, recently purchased a lush piece of land just 10 minutes by foot from MYF. The land is called Sol Alegria, which means Sun and Joy — and that’s exactly the energy we’re anchoring here ☀️

Together, we’re building a temple on this land — a cosmic egg-shaped sanctuary for medicine ceremonies, ancestral wisdom, devotional music, and deep healing. We’re calling it Templo da Jiboia (The Anaconda Temple) — a name that honors the sacred serpent, the wisdom of the jungle, and the transformational journeys we’ll hold inside.

Why Our Current Ceremony Spaces Aren’t Cutting it!

As many of you know, we’ve been holding ceremonies for years at MYF in Jaguar Hall. While it’s been beautiful, it’s not ideal for the deep work we’re doing:

Why We’re Building This Temple

This new temple will change everything. It’s far enough from MYF that the sound won’t overlap, but close enough to walk back easily after the ceremony. It gives us the space and freedom to offer deeper work — from regular ceremonies with Sunny & Jah, to weekend retreats and gatherings with guest facilitators and indigenous elders from the Yawanawá, Huni Kuin, and Wixarika nations. We want to more regularly host our teachers and friends doing good medicine work, and offer a safe space for people to offer medicine work in Lake Atitlan. Our temple will be the only temple in Atitlan with an enclosed space AND a fire inside! It will also have the highest max capacity of any other space in the area, which is ideal for when the indigenous come!

The Temple Design:

This will be the primary ceremonial space for Sunny and Jah to offer our deepest work — and a home for teachers and healers from around the world to gather and serve.

How You Can Help — And Why Every Offering Matters:

When we first dreamed up this temple, the budget was around $70–100k — and our dear brother Scott generously offered to cover that himself. Then as the vision grew — with more details, more intention, and more heart — the cost naturally increased.

Now, to build this temple with the beauty, safety, and sacred energy it deserves, we’re looking at: $150,000 for the temple itself and $20,000 for solar, bathrooms, lighting, sound, and infrastructure.

Scott is still covering a large portion — about $50k to $70k — which is a huge support. That leaves us with $70k–100k to raise through our community.

And this is where you come in.

This temple is not just ours — it belongs to all of us who have gathered here over the years. Every person who has sat in ceremony, shared music, or found healing here is part of this dream.
