Support the Creation of Prana Bar

We need help to build Prana Bar here in Carmel, Indiana.

For four decades I have been teaching and coaching amazing individuals to challenge themselves to become "more amazing-er". Together my students and I have supported and encouraged each other to step outside our familiar habits and thoughts. We have explored our limits and boundaries together.

In February of this year I was informed of the termination of my 11-year old studio lease. BODY by GymRoots was a place where we did a lot of research and development helping people be more comfortable and functional in their bodies. In the process of teaching Pilates, BioCored, yoga, and gymnastics, we learned about the healing power of movement. We had built an incredible space where people came for help with movement and found a healing balance for mind, body, and spirit.

When the studio closed in May our community lost its physical anchor. We also gained an opportunity to do some deep cleaning and move toward creating something new. What that would be was unknown at first.

When asked what they would not be able to live without, our clientele most often reported they would miss the "vibe" and the community of the studio. With that feedback and much evaluation of our strengths/weaknesses/needs/desires, we are giddy with excitement to announce the building of Prana Bar - A Gathering Space. Prana Bar will be a place where people can explore living a better life and be supported in stepping out of the comfort zone of normalcy.

My "playful partner," Neil, and I are asking for financial support to purchase materials and supplies for space preparation. Yes, we are building a business that we believe will be profitable. We are also committing to this business on all levels as a means to provide service to the community in meaningful ways. Your donation will help us move out of debt faster and begin giving back to the community much sooner.

We will host a Grand Opening celebration on August 15, the birthday of our Teacher!

For my Arhatic Yogis and Pranic Healing friends - Prana Bar is using me to create a pipeline for people to practice, to serve, and to spread the teachings.
