Dear Friends, Family and Community,

The Crawford family needs our love and support as a result of this past week's farming tragedy. On Saturday afternoon, Thomas sustained life threatening injuries being caught in the corn picker while harvesting. Despite extensive medical and surgical efforts, Thomas will face the outcome of amputation of both legs. One arm is still at risk and functionality of this arm is yet to be determined. You can only imagine the devastation this family is facing. The love and sincerity from everyone has given them strength and courage to face each day of unknowns and new challenges. We desperately ask for continued prayers, as this heartbreaking outcome and future medical care unfolds. Lusie will be out of work; extensive rehab and a great deal of therapies will be necessary, resulting in financial hardship. All support received will be appreciated and cherished to assist with the long term care and basic daily needs for Thomas and Lusie, Landon and Annie.
