Every day in Los Angeles, families, seniors, veterans, immigrants, and individuals experiencing hardship walk through our doors looking for something many of us take for granted: a meal, groceries, and a little hope.

At Community Space Food Bank, we believe that no one should have to choose between paying rent and putting food on the table.

From our home at 3615 Beverly Boulevard in Rampart Village, we serve approximately 250 neighbors every day through hot meals, grocery distribution, food rescue, and community support programs. For many, we are more than a food bank. We are a place where people are welcomed with dignity, compassion, and respect.

But today, the future of this work depends on one critical opportunity.

We have the chance to purchase the property we currently operate from and secure a permanent home for the community.

Right now, thousands of dollars each month go toward rent, money that could instead be used to feed families, expand programs, rescue more food, and create long-term solutions to hunger. By purchasing the property, we can transform those monthly expenses into direct investment in our mission.

This isn't just about buying a property.

It's about protecting a resource that hundreds of people rely on every single day.

It's about creating stability after years of growth, challenges, and recovery, including continuing to serve our community through a devastating fire that disrupted operations in 2025.

With ownership of the property, Community Space Food Bank will be able to expand food access, increase food rescue efforts, develop freeze-dry food preservation programs that turn potential waste into long-term nutrition, create educational opportunities for youth, and build community gardens and sustainability programs that strengthen our neighborhood for generations to come.

Our goal is to raise $300,000 to help secure the down payment, closing costs, essential equipment, and operating reserves needed to make this vision possible.
