We are calling on our community to come together to make a lasting impact for all who seek healing, connection, and unity.

The time has come to build a sacred space that will serve not just one family, but every person who has been touched by the fires of prayer, ceremony, and community at Echoes.

Fernando guided by his Mexica lineage and a deep commitment to sacred tradition of the red road path through the Lakota traditions; has been holding space for us all through sweat lodges, all-night tipi prayer gatherings, and pilgrimages in the desert to wirikuta. For many years prior, Fernando was also supported by Antonia, the mother of his 3 children. This vision has always been rooted in family, lineage, and community. However it’s not just about them—it’s about the entire community.

Thanks to the blessings of Aunty Kim, these fire ceremonies have been possible at Ecos. But to continue this sacred work, we need a tipi; a home for the prayers, a gathering place for healing.

The tipi will be a central part of this community vision: a sacred space where we can gather around the fire, reconnect with ourselves, each other, and the land. It’s an offering not just for those who have already participated in ceremony, but for everyone who longs for a deeper connection to spirit and earth.

By contributing, you’re not just helping to fund a tipi; you’re investing in the healing and well-being of your community. This space will serve as a point of connection, a place for prayers to be heard, for healing to unfold, and for unity to blossom. Your support will ripple far beyond this moment, spreading strength and restoration through the community. For many years Fernando has allowed up to half of the participants of the ceremonies to come to the tipi for free when they did not have the funds to come- so it would be beautiful to see the community give back in that same way he has given so selflessly.

After Fernando's tipi was destroyed by bad weather- we are now looking to raise the deposit for the tipi within 2 weeks, it will then take 2 weeks to make. So we need to raise $4000 to make the deposit within 2 weeks and the total in 4 weeks or at least by June 15th at the latest. The Tipi will cost about $8500.

The total goal being $10,500 to be able to cover costs of sacrament as well as the tipi.

To celebrate raising enough funds for the tipi in time, everyone who donates $350 will be offered a seat in the tipi at the Winter Solstice Tipi Prayer gathering; an opportunity to come together in reverence, warmth, and collective prayer Saturday 21st June 2025.

But we must raise the money with enough time to make the tipi (deposit in 2 weeks and total in 4 weeks time )
