Please consider supporting our Fundraising Gala Showcase, VIP, and After-Party meet & greet. Having anchor support will elevate our message to a resounding howl no one could continue to ignore in our area. It will help so many worldwide fight for their lives with grace and dignity as true authentic artists and human beings. Having this seed funding will help secure our venue and Headliner!
I have always seen, deeply appreciated, and believed sharing our message is truly necessary and vital. Connecting this intersectional, direct relationship and message in outreach to the community is a core value I hold dear and representative of my heart. Something I tremendously appreciate is massive and impactful messaging.
I’d like to write a little about the Gala’s Mission and my Big Hairy Awesome Dream (BHAD).
After sharing this idea with the President of the Equality Clinic of Augusta, GA, Tracy Casanova, we are in joyous collaboration. This shows not only our trust in one another as we co-piloted the local Women’s March with the entire team in 2016, but also our shared current mission and vision.
I founded The Collective Foundation for Structural Integration in March of 2025 to bring innovative, holistic, and lineage-driven education, wellness and medicine, workforce development, and community resilience to marginalized and underserved communities. Particularly women, children, neurodivergent, POC, and LGBTQIA. I believe in embodied experiential learning and purpose-driven local and national field projects that uplift communities instead of profiting off their backs. With Advisors of Equitable Access, this Collective Equality Gala is my first local LGBTQIA community support-driven fundraiser for our CFSI charity, and The Equality Clinic of Augusta is in joyful collaboration. I have resourced many Advisors within the community for the Gala Committee and have received tremendous sponsorship and encouragement. I’ve reached out to Dana Goldberg (negotiating), Xiuhtezcatl (negotiating), Tori Amos, Pedro Pascal, and their respective tour/booking teams to see if they will consider a special appearance. We are currently curating programs to fund the honorarium budgets and expenses. It will be so enlightening and enjoyable for this city and this state. Imagine if we could all collaborate on this level for our Maiden Gala Voyage! Ahhh, the BHAD of it all. The impact on culture and society that such an inclusive production has is truly a path for the bold. Especially in this climate and this CSRA societal culture with the changing tides. Making it feel absolutely necessary. Our inaugural theme is Express Yourself.
The Collective Equality Gala Mission:
509(a)(2) Public Charity Fundraiser centered around community service, social engagement, civic engagement in preventative health and holistic care, and community mental health advocacy. Greeting the stigma with a centered and collaborative heartfelt presence. This Gala will showcase the art of our local LGBTQIA community heroes as well as national icons. The products of intersectional oppression aimed at erasure and the contrast of our healing, vibrantly loving, and supportive culture of human beings and our rights to essential care, dignity, and thriving rewarding lives. We aim to collaborate with these champions in human rights, comedy, entertainment, and storytelling that hold this entire community together by sharing their inspirational stories and lives. Along with the education, care, and support available, and how we as a collective can better show up for the needs of our community, the primary focus of CEG fundraising is to support the local charities CFSI and EC of Augusta for provision of free and low-cost health, wellness, and clinic services and care to the LGBTQIA community and youth. Special consideration and outreach to The Trevor Project (to receive a portion of proceeds through CFSI volunteer portal) for additional support and collaboration on the Gala, along with all nominated headliners (portion to benefit icon-nominated charity). Current outreach is also in process with Trans Lifeline. The venue is required to be a “safe space” and secure location for all community members and co-pilots involved in any CFSI project, program, or collaborative affiliate.
