Jonathon- Captain of the Cohasset Volunteer Fire Department, his wife Cassidy, and sons Daniel & Wyatt, lost their family home in Cohasset yesterday. They owned a double wide mobile that was not insurable. They need our help with everything now, because of that. Johnathan and his Dad had also built a two story play cabin on the property which had immeasurable value and memories. They have lost everything. Jonathan's brother, Jason, had also just moved onto their property. He was living in a brand new 25 foot trailer, which is also gone.

When the fire started, their family was on a vacation at the coast. They were unable to retrieve anything of value from their home. Their neighbor went and rescued one of their dogs, the other was with them on vacation. Their three cats were unable to be located, and their whereabouts are unknown at this time.

This is the history of their family.

Wyatt, their oldest son, who is 14 years old and currently attends Pleasant Valley High, has lost three homes now to fires.
Johnathan has spent the last several years volunteering for the Cohasset Fire Department and then became Captain of the Volunteer Department due to his selfless service and continued dedication to help his community.
Cassidy has be in service with the community in her careers as well. She is currently working in a local non profit helping children, previously employed as a drug/alcohol counselor, and started as an in home care giver.
Their youngest son Daniel, is 6 years old and going into 1st grade at one of our local Charter Schools here in Chico. He is a sweet and sensitive boy who is going to be majorly confused by these recent events of losing the only home he's ever known.

They also majorly helped in aiding numerous families that lost their homes in the Campfire. It is now our time to show up and help this selfless family, as they have done for all of us over the past decade. Please say prayers for their hearts and donate what you're able.

We will also be setting up an Amazon wish list in the near future and will update this with the link.

Thank you all.

We will all forever remain Butte County Strong.
