My name is Sarah Segura and I am writing this message on behalf of the Christoffersen family. On July 20, 2024 Conner Christoffersen was tragically killed in a vehicle collision. He was a son, husband, father, brother, and friend.
Last year, I had the privilege of being Conner’s oldest son’s third grade teacher. I didn’t know Conner well personally, but it is always interesting to get to know adults through the eyes of their children. In listening to the way his child spoke of him, it was clear that Conner loved his children, and that feeling was deeply reciprocated. I can also say that Conner was also highly involved, as he attended every one of our school’s family nights and sporting events that his children participated in. I remember him happily laughing, applauding, or cheering for his family. He was a shining example of a good father.
Now as Conner’s family tries to pick up the pieces after his passing, money should be the least of their concern. Conner’s income was paramount to his family, and it will take time for them to get back on their feet. Until then, I ask that you consider helping to lift a tiny bit of their burden by contributing to this fundraiser. Remember, “The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate action of its members.” - Coretta Scott King
