Support the Children of Highridge Nursery & Primary School in Arusha, Tanzania

Hi, my name is Gabriella, and I’m currently volunteering at Highridge Nursery and Primary School in Arusha, Tanzania.

The school is filled with bright, kind, and eager children but many of them are learning in challenging conditions. Some come to class without pens, books, or even shoes. Others wear uniforms that are torn or too small, and many classrooms lack basic furniture, learning materials, and sports equipment.

Despite this, the children turn up every day with huge smiles and so much enthusiasm to learn. The teachers work tirelessly to make the best of what they have, but it’s clear they need more support.

What I’m Doing:

• Volunteering in the classroom, running activities and supporting the teachers

• Helping to create blog and social media content to help promote the school and share their story

• Using all donated funds to buy school resources locally in Arusha to support both the students and the local economy

What Your Donation Will Help Provide:

• Exercise books, pens, pencils, chalk, rulers

• School uniforms and shoes

• Footballs, sports kits, and outdoor play equipment

• Classroom chairs, tables, chalkboards and teaching aids

• Drinking water containers and basic hygiene supplies
