We are reaching out to you during an incredibly challenging time for our dear friend, Crystal Covert-Dupree and her loving family. Crystal has always been a beacon of love, compassion, and generosity, never hesitating to extend a helping hand to those in need. Today, she is the one who needs our support as she bravely battles end-stage liver disease at UCSF, awaiting the life-saving liver transplant she desperately needs.

While Crystal fights for her life, her husband, Daryl is by her side, providing the unwavering support and love she needs during this critical time. This leaves their precious children Elijah(17), Denzel(8), Kaylani(7), and Luka(1) in the care of kind-hearted friends who have stepped up to provide a temporary home filled with love and stability.

As you can imagine, the emotional and financial strain on this family is immense. With both parents focused on Crystals health, the costs of everyday living, and additional expenses are mounting. This is where we humbly ask for your help.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 to cover the children's expenses, including:

- Day-to-day living expenses (food, transportation, etc.)

- extracurricular, activities to maintain a sense of normalcy

- travel expenses to and from UCSF

- Any unforeseen costs that arise during this difficult period
