SUPPORT the CAMPAIGN for Armenian hostages & POWs

One year since the Ceasefire Agreement of 9 November 2020 that stopped the military action in Nagorno-Karabakh, Azerbaijan has not released 100s of Armenian POWs and dozens of civilian hostages. This is violation of article 8 of the above Agreement as well as the Third Geneva Convention regarding prisoners of war of 1949. As Azerbaijan remains unpunished by the world community for its disregard of international law, Azerbaijani militaries continue capturing new Armenian hostages, currently from the sovereign territories of the Republic of Armenia.

Over 40 POWs have been tortured to death by the Baku authorities. We MUST continue to condemn the war crimes including the brutal mistreatment of Armenian hostages by the Azerbaijani regime.

 

British Armenian has been campaigning for the release of ALL Armenian hostages and POWs held illegally in Azerbaijan for over one year via letters, peaceful protests, meetings with decision makers etc. Our Global Petition launched in January 2021 has reached 35.000 supporters and keeps growing.

 

British Armenian is a totally free, independent, non-government group of ordinary citizens, with no political affiliation and zero funding from any business, religious or political forces. We MUST stay independent and influence-free in the future.

Therefore, public support and public donations are vital for the group to continue campaigning: protests, letters, meetings and other ways to highlight the ongoing humanitarian crisis of Armenian hostages mistreated or murdered in captivity.
