Most of us know the C family via TikTok due to their unique surrogacy journey that unfolded over the course of the pandemic, which led to two unexpected but greatly welcomed additions to the family. They now need our help, and you have expressed your interest in doing so. With a lot of convincing, this GoFundMe has been made.

Let’s lighten the financial burden of the C family as they face unimaginable heartbreak as they await an official diagnosis. Over the past year, Erica’s husband has been showing signs of dementia and cognitive decline. More specifically, possible Lewy body dementia - an incredibly cruel and progressive brain disorder. Within the last several weeks, he has had a rapid decline to the point where he can no longer be left alone unsupervised.

With 5 kids to care for at home, this leaves an incredible burden for Erica to carry. She is still working while trying to care for her younger children and now her husband, who can no longer help out due to no fault of his own.

There are many things we cannot change in this situation, but one thing we can do is provide some financial assistance to the family. Erica is reluctant to receive help, but she needs her community now more than ever as she cannot do this on her own. Let’s show this family the love they deserve and ease any financial burden they may have at this very moment.

Money raised will go directly to Erica to use as she sees fit. This includes caregivers for her husband and children when needed, replacing any loss of wages from work, household expenses, etc.
