Hello! We’re Beth Waage, Jason Janssen, Kelli Hecker, and Sam Brant, members of Leadership Ames Class 37. Our group project is focused on creating a joyful and safe play space for children and families in need by refurbishing a playground. We’re relocating this playground to the new facility of the 18-Plex Bridge Home, where it will serve as a sanctuary for kids/families who need it most.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to fund new slides, a catwalk, cement footings, and the remaining installation costs. Thanks to the generous support of our community, we've already had help dismantling the playground and access to essential equipment for installation.
