Support the bravest little girl in her recovery

On Friday, October 6th, Maddie showed signs of a little allergic reaction, but still was so high spirited and wanted to have her sleep over with her cousins and brother. But Saturday she was worse, and instead of going shopping with Oma, she went home early to mom and dad. Over the weekend her symptoms got worse and was admitted to Childrens Hospital. Her eyes hurt and has not opened them since Monday morning, her mouth and face has blisters all over and has barely talked. Tuesday she was diagnosed with Steven's-Johnsons Syndrome, and she was given a feeding tube.
Today has been so much better. She has been talking more and finally tonight, she opened her beautiful little eyes! The swelling has gone down so much and her sassy side is showing again!
However, there is still a long road to recovery. Which means everything Cheyenne and Andrew and little Maddie Rae have been through the last 4 days, and everything they will need to go through for the next few weeks, is adding up. They have been through so much, and they need to focus on Maddie and the boys. A little help will go a long way in making sure they are not going to be burdened with medical bills when she comes home. Updates will be added as they come, but show love and support for one of the most amazing families.
UPDATE - I have an amazing update this evening. Madelyn had a pretty low key day. But this evening she had to have another in depth eye exam and skin exam that required that she be sedated. We were just given the news that her eyes are at very low risk for damage. Also her team told us that she is showing great improvement. We still have multiple weeks between the hospital and home. One thing we have been told today that is painful is she has the possibility with the healing that it may leave her with scaring that could need plastic surgery. But health wise we will have our little girl and that's the most important thing to us.
