Honoring Luke – Helping His Family Through Tragedy
Donation protected
It is with broken hearts that we share the unexpected and tragic passing of Luke Andrew Blanchard, who lost his life in a car accident on Monday, March 24th. He was just 23 years old.
Luke was a devoted father, loving husband, cherished son, loyal brother, and a friend to so many. He leaves behind his wife Michaela—a 911 dispatcher who has spent her career walking others through their darkest moments—and their 7-month-old son Jax, who will now grow up carrying the love and memory of a father gone too soon.
While thankfully, there is a fundraiser to support Michaela and baby Jax, this GoFundMe has been created to support Luke’s parents and immediate family, who are navigating the devastating loss of their son while still trying to carry on with work and life.
Louis Blanchard, Luke’s father, serves as the Southern Pines Deputy Fire Marshal, and his mother Jennifer is a beloved teacher in the community at Calvary Christian. Luke’s brother Jonathan is also part of the Southern Pines TruFit Gym team. The Blanchards are a family who have poured so much into this community—with strength, love, and service—and now it’s our chance to return that love in their time of need.
No parent should have to bury a child. And no family should have to carry the emotional and financial burden of that pain alone.
Your donation, your prayers, or even just sharing this campaign will help relieve some of the weight on this family’s shoulders as they grieve and heal.
Thank you for showing up for the Blanchards. Let’s surround them with the love and support they’ve always shown others.
