Support the Black Student Union at University of Utah

On July 1st, 2024, a legislative bill titled “HB261” caused the University to strip away our advisor, annual 11k funding, and our support system through the Center for Equity and Student Belonging and the Black Cultural Center.

The Black Student Union at the University of Utah is a student-led organization dedicated to the empowerment and well-being of Black students. We build community, celebrate culture, and uplift one another through education, advocacy, and joy. Rooted in love and solidarity, we honor our history, affirm our present, and shape a future where Black students are not only supported — but seen, heard, and deeply valued. Our doors are open to all who stand with us.
