Support The Black Santa Experience in Lansing

I am the founder of The Black Santa Experience (TBSE)—Mid-Michigan’s largest Black Santa-themed holiday celebration. Created from the belief that every child deserves to see a Santa that looks like them, TBSE has become an incredible experience for families in our community. With music, delicious food, a marketplace full of Black-owned vendors, and the one and only Black Santa himself, it’s a joyful gathering like no other.

One of my favorite parts? Kids write letters to Santa, and with the help of donations from me and my lifelong sister friends, we respond to every single letter until our funds run out. Seeing the impact of this has been deeply meaningful, especially as someone who grew up aware of the need for representation in our community.
