There are so many of us who have been blessed to be known, loved, and taught by Moriah and Matthew Bilyeu.
On November 26th, Moriah gave birth to Koa James Edward. His birth did not go as planned and hoped for. Moriah hemorrhaged, and she and the baby were rushed to the hospital. Upon arrival, it was quickly determined that Koa had some serious issues as well, and he was taken to the NICU to be evaluated and cared for.
His name means warrior, and Koa has fought very hard, but there are too many battles to fight and overcome. He is likely going to go back to Jesus’ arms in the near future.
The Bilyeu Family will have massive medical bills in the wake of Koa’s birth and Moriah’s postpartum medical emergency. Moriah runs a non-profit theater company and does photography and teaching. Her ability to work was limited towards the end of her pregnancy and will continue to be for some time to come as she recovers and as their family heals.
We would love to bless their family by taking some of the weight off of them, especially since they still have their two precious girls to provide for and there is still a long journey ahead for them.
