The Barrera family have been a pillar in their community ,generously supporting their church and local charities for many years. But now they find themselves in desperate need of help. Louis Barrera, the family's main provider, has fallen gravely ill and has been in and out of the hospital and is currently in an inpatient physical therapy rehabilitation center. He has been diagnosed with Dementia, Parkinsons disease and heart failure among other health issues. He can no longer walk, take care of daily needs or work to provide for his family and is now completly dependant on his elderly wife, who also suffers from multiple heath issues, along with their daughter who battles lupus, seizures among other health issues.

The family is struggling to survive on a fixed income that barely covers their basic needs. They are on the brink of losing their home of many years and their car. They struggle monthly to pay the utilities as well. Their young granddaughter, who relies on them for a stable home is at risk of losing the only security she has ever known.

This home was lovingly designed and built by Louis and Maria over 40 years ago and was meant to be the families legacy for generations. Now they are in danger of losing it all.

Ayuda la familia Barrera a salvar su hogar

La familia Barrera siempre ha sido un pilar en su comunidad, apoyando generosamente a su iglesia y a organizaciones beneficas locales durante muchos anos. Pero ahora ellos mismos se encuentran en una situacion muy deseperada. Louis Barrera, el principal proveedor de la familia ha caido gravamente enfermo y ha estado entrando y saliendo del hospital. Ha sido dignosticado con Demencia, Parkinsons y insuficiencia cardiaca. Ya no puede caminar, hacer cosas diarias, ni trabajar para proveer a su familia y depende completamente de su esposa que tambien sufre varias enfermedades como el COPD y del corazon, junto con su hija que lucha contra el lupus y convulciones.

La familia esta ahora sobreviviendo con su ingreso fijo que apenas cubre su necesidades basicas. Estan al borde de perder su hogar de muchos anos y el auto. Y luchan cada para mes pagar el agua y la electicidad. Su nietecita pequena que depende de ellos para un hogar estable esta en riesgo de perder la unica seguridad que ha conocido.

Este hogar que Louis y Maria disenaron y constuyeron juntos con tanto carino y amor hace mas de 40 anos fue pensado para ser el legado de su familia por generaciones. Ahora estan en el peligro de perderlo todo.
