At Women United, we’re committed to supporting organizations that provide essential resources to our community, and this May, we’re partnering with the Baltimore Abortion Fund (BAF) to help provide contraceptive kits for individuals in need.

If you attended our March meeting, you heard from Porsha Pinder, the Executive Director of BAF, who shared important information about abortion access and the challenges people face in obtaining care. BAF provides financial assistance to people seeking abortions and other reproductive health services in Maryland, and they also offer a wide range of support, including contraceptive services.

How You Can Help:

We’re collecting the essential items needed to assemble contraceptive kits for BAF’s clients. The items on the list include condoms, lubricant, and emergency contraception, all of which are vital for empowering individuals to take control of their reproductive health. If you’re able to donate financially but can’t purchase the items yourself, you can contribute through this GoFundMe, and our outreach coordinator will use the funds to purchase the necessary items directly for donation.
