Hello brothers and sisters of America, I am here to express my pains along with many others who experienced deportation by ICE agents. I am an American citizen but ICE has targeted my wife as well as many other families that is trying to live in peace in America as brothers and sisters. Our Goal is to raise enough funds for my wife to have legal consultation.
My name is Scott Bailey born 1977 in America, growing up as a youth in the hard conditions and lifestyles of Detroit Michigan, I grew up poor and my family are descendants of slavery, just like many other African-American children due to slavery. We were subjected to slavery, red lining, economic racism, social economic racism, racial intimidation, racial profiling, and not equal to America’s workforce to make financial gain and generational wealth to our people. My wife Pang Nhia Hang-Bailey, she took my last name through marriage of twenty-six years. We met in 1995 and got married September 26, 1999.
Pang Bailey was born in Laos 1972, brought to France as a refugee in 1973 and from France was brought to America as a refugee in 1978, this will make Hmong people living in America as refugees under an asylum, living under an agreement in the US under the 1951 refugee convention this is a treaty that was made by the US government to the Hmong people that was brought here as refugees saving their lives being allies with America because they helped America fight in the Vietnam War, making them refugees/citizens of the US under many different legal and granted laws put in place by Ronald Regan the president of the US in office January 20th 1981-1989.
In 2007, Pang Bailey mistakenly violated rules that resulted in her green card being revoked, her green card expired in 1995 after being contacted by immigration and there she was told that she cannot renew her green card. She was then placed on deportation status for not having proper documents in America. Immigration and customs enforcement gave my wife a removal order in 2007 with annual reports starting off with phone call check ins to immigration, later it was walk-in visits from 2007 until current. On July 30th 2025 on a Wednesday morning she made her annual report and that’s when ICE detained her, I wasn’t able to talk to her, say goodbye, or anything. An ICE agent approached me after two hours of waiting in the lobby and informed me that my wife was being held by ICE and will be deported. Since then she has been transferred to the Corrections Center of Northwestern in Stryker, Ohio. She was held there for five days then transferred to PORT ISABEL SERVICE DETENTION CENTER in Texas. My wife stated that the living conditions were horrible in that facility and her medical treatments were delayed, she was diagnosed with type two diabetes, she is currently 53 years old and never lived in correctional facilities or Laos. My wife expressed to me that she had to use her own shoes as a pillow while being held in PORT ISABEL DETENTION CENTER in Texas. And after 30 years of being married to me and 46 years living as a refugee under asylum. No violent crimes, no domestic violence, no drug crimes, no sexual crimes, or a national security threat. Pang was a citizen to many people in America, not a refugee. She was a tax payer, a Christian, and a mother of 4 children that her and I raised and because of Pang’s dedication and teaching methods 3 of our kids have graduated high school and our last child is graduating in 2027
