After a courageous 17-year battle with breast cancer, Heather Baer passed peacefully on Saturday, September 20th, surrounded by love.

This past year has been especially difficult for the Baer family. Heather’s treatments required frequent travel from Florida to Boston several times a month, as well as to Houston—all while their son Matthew was preparing to start college this past August. The emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming.

We hope to ease some of this burden by helping with the mounting expenses and ensuring Heather receives the proper celebration of life she deserves. One of Heather’s greatest qualities was her giving heart, and now we have the opportunity to give back in her honor.
