Welcome to the GoFundMe for Stapleton Camping 2026. Stapleton Camping is an annual trip, open to all who have participated in past Stapleton Theatre/Town Player shows, plus friends and family.
Note that the minimum contribution to reserve a place is $30 for an individual, $60 for a family.
Any funds we collect beyond $650 will be used for shared expenses.

Why GoFundMe?
- In the past, one or two people have been responsible for funding and then collecting for the full cost of camping. This is a way to spread the cost and responsibility among a larger group.
Where and when is the trip?
- We will be at the Richardson Grove Dawn Redwood Group Camp. The dates this year are Thursday, July 9 - Sunday, July 12.
What happens when the date arrives?
- There is no charge for camping. You arrive, and you pick a spot in the group site.
- Everyone is welcome to come, subject to available space, whether they contribute to the GoFundMe or not.
- There are often additional shared costs, such as group meals, firewood, etc., but the cost of the campsite has been covered.
Why “subject to available space”? Is there a way to guarantee a space?
- Richardson Grove has a limit of 40 people. We have exceeded that number in the past, and a number of people then booked individual sites. They were able to participate in all the group events, but went back to their sites at night.
- A minimum contribution of $30 for an individual, $60 for a family will reserve a spot in the campground. This only applies to the first 40 people to contribute the minimum contribution. After that, you will be added to the waiting list.
What if I contribute to the GoFundMe, but can’t or choose not to make the trip?
- You have helped make Stapleton Camping 2026 a success!
- You have helped others who possibly could not afford to attend the trip.
- You have helped build the community.
- In short, you have “paid it forward.”
