Walking Across Canada in Support of ARI in Peru
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
On March 21, I starting a walk from Victoria, B.C. to Pincher Creek Alberta (the pacific to prairie camino). On April 19th I decided to continue the fundraising walk and o go across Canada to St. John’s Newfoundland. This walk is a fund raiser for a non profit society in Peru, the Andean Research Institute (ARI) https://www.andeaninstitute.org
ARI ‘s mission is to preserve ancient wisdom and culture, provide child education, and weave the old ways into the new world for villages in around the Sacred Valley.
Wendy and I have been to Peru several times, working with and learning from all the beautiful Medicine people and ARI founder Jose Luis Herrera. We have seen the positive impact ARI has had on the community of Maras already and there is much more that can be done.
My total walk is 7200 klms. I will be towing a hiking trailer with my gear and be camping along the way. If you would like to follow me on this walk there will be photos of my journey on Facebook and Instagram.
Thank You,
Have a great day,
Gary
