Our family is facing an unexpected and heartbreaking transition. My father was recently deported after a long and painful immigration process that deeply affected every part of our lives. This has been an incredibly difficult reality to accept—not because we gave up, but because we fought with everything we had. Our legal team worked tirelessly alongside us, and we pursued every available option to keep our family together. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, the system failed us.

What happened to my dad is not an isolated incident. Thousands of families across this country are experiencing the same pain—parents taken without warning, medical needs ignored, due process rushed or denied, and families left to carry the emotional and financial weight left behind. My father is a loving husband, a devoted parent, and the backbone of our family. His sudden removal has left us grieving not only his absence, but the stability, care, and support he provided. Beyond the emotional toll, our family is now navigating significant financial strain as we adjust to life without him physically present.
