Our neighbors, the Alvarez family, have suffered a devastating loss after an electrical fire severely damaged their family home at 2051 N. Spalding.

This is more than just a house. It is a multigenerational family home where grandparents, parents, children, and grandchildren have lived together and made memories for many years. This family has been a part of the neighborhood for a long time, and now they are facing an incredibly difficult time.

Tragically, the family also lost their beloved dog in the fire, adding an unimaginable amount of grief to everything they are already going through.
