“A black belt is a white belt who never quit.”
I trained in karate as a kid, and years later, I got back into it because of my son. What started as a way to support him turned into something much bigger — now we’re training together, and I’ve even started assistant coaching.
It’s reminded me how powerful martial arts can be. It teaches confidence, focus, discipline, and resilience — lessons every child deserves.
That’s why I’m raising funds for the Action Karate Scholarship Fund, which helps kids who want to train but can’t afford it. And this isn’t just any fundraiser — it’s part of my own black belt journey. I want to earn this belt not just through training, but by giving back and opening the door for others to walk this path too.
Nothing brings me more joy than watching a kid earn their white belt — that first big step, that moment of pride. Some of these kids have never had the chance to feel that kind of success before.
Every donation helps. Every share helps. Let’s help more kids earn their white belts — and never quit on the way to black.
Thank you for supporting the next generation of martial artists.
