PRIEST FAMILY REVIVAL is our family legacy brand and creative enterprise. It blends Idaho heritage, craftsmanship, and regional pride. With deep roots in the American West, a shared vision for authentic storytelling, and our desire to give back to our local community.

THE BEADING PROJECT

A workforce initiative created by Priest Family Revival that trains, supports, and employs women to create handcrafted beaded jewelry for the brand.

The program employs women in transition: post-incarceration, without housing, or living in a shelter, to create handcrafted jewelry and heritage goods.

Participants are trained in beadwork and paid a dignified wage, defying Idaho’s low minimum wage, and providing access to a unique opportunity.

THE CHALLENGE

Women in America experience poverty at a much higher rate than men. Children are the most impoverished demographic in the country, and women are raising the majority of those children.

Most women experience homelessness, incarceration, and domestic violence because of systemic poverty. Post-incarceration, women face barriers to employment, housing, and financial stability.

Without access to meaningful work, the risk of recidivism increases, and economic instability persists. Whether facing homelessness or coming out of incarceration, most available jobs are low-wage, unstable, and disconnected from identity or purpose.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Beading is found throughout time in most of the world’s cultures. It is not just a craft—it is an art form, and in many traditions, a spiritual practice. The art of beading is estimated to be 100,000 years old. Beads

were once the currency for many cultures.

Craft and art have been proven to regulate the nervous system and build focus, patience, and tranquility. Beading is both a development in skill and a form of creative expression. Priest Family’s beading project will provide opportunity, community, fair-wage employment, and a supportive environment.

Participants will learn beadwork techniques and produce pieces that will be integrated into Priest Family Revival’s product line.

PFR is a living emblem of the American West: cowboys, outlaws, musicians, poets, mule packers, and artisans. At the heart of this lineage is Randy Priest, the legendary cowboy and hat maker whose work drew people from across the world to the small town of Donnelly, Idaho.

Randy was not only a craftsman but a cultural icon—his hats, worn by ranchers, musicians, and wanderers alike, became symbols of independence and artistry.

Awarded the Idaho Governor’s Award in the Arts, he championed local sourcing and worked with artisans to bring authenticity to every creation. His legacy was not just in the hats, but in the spirit of the people who wore them.

We honor our mothers and grandmothers—seamstresses, healers, and visionaries who infused this family with artistry and strength. Together, they form the backbone of a tradition rooted in resilience, creativity, and wild-hearted expression.

The brand will include: Cowboy Hats & Headwear, Westernwear & Apparel, and eventually Home, Lifestyle & Spirits that bring Western heritage into everyday life.

Western wear is not just fashion—it is a feeling. In an age of division, we believe in uniting people through symbols of authenticity and liberation. Our designs are not costumes of nostalgia—they are garments of freedom, woven with the spirit of the land and people who made them.

We are building our brand from the ground up -- this is a family-driven, grassroots effort. We are knee-deep in implementing our vision, and we believe it's a good one.
