URGENT HELP NEEDED – FAMILY EMERGENCY IN TUNISIA
I’m really hoping you might be able to help with something serious.
A local family are facing an absolute nightmare abroad.
Grandfather Terry from Dunfermline took his granddaughter and her friend on a two-week holiday to Tunisia. Sadly, Terry became very unwell during the trip. He was planning to fly home early as he didn’t feel well, but before he could, he ended up being rushed to hospital.
On Sunday morning, his granddaughter went to his hotel room to help him get ready to fly home but walked into a very disturbing scene. Terry was on the floor, confused, shouting that he didn’t know who his granddaughter was or where he was. The hotel room was in a total mess. She immediately alerted the hotel staff, who quickly phoned an ambulance.
Terry is now in hospital in Tunisia with severe delirium, and doctors have warned that he may not survive. He also has a metal plate in his head that should have been removed a few years ago, but the hospital there can’t treat or operate on it.
Terry’s 18 year old granddaughter has had to fly home, she’s extremely vulnerable and was terrified, not knowing what to do. His son is here in Scotland trying desperately to get over to his dad, but he doesn’t have a passport or the money to get one urgently or to book a flight.
Terry is a 67-year-old man, alone in a foreign hospital, and his family are heartbroken.
We’re trying to raise funds to help his son get an emergency same-day passport and flights to Tunisia so he can be with his dad, before it’s too late.
Please, if anyone can donate, share, it would mean the world to this family.
Let’s pull together and try to get Terry’s son to his dad’s side. ❤️
