Help My Family After a Tragic Brooklyn NYC Fire
Hi, my name is Terrance Parks. I live with my mom, sisters, one of whom is severely autistic and requires assistance with all activities of daily living (ADLs).
On November 6, 2025, a fire at our residence in Brooklyn destroyed all that we had. We are deeply grateful that no one was hurt, but the loss is still devastating.
Our documents, clothes, medical supplies, furniture, work equipment and supplies, everything we had, gone but the clothes on our backs.
The Red Cross has coordinated temporary hotel stays but that time is increasingly limited.
To make matters even harder, our family’s situation was already fragile. I’ve been barely managing to keep my wrestling studio afloat and my sister, a nurse, was tragically injured earlier this year at a major hospital. She has been on medical leave, with ongoing specialist treatments, and unable to provide her usual financial support.
Our home also served as the home office base for our health, wellness, and fitness initiatives, providing support and supplies to families, the disabled, and youth long before this tragedy.
We are now facing major costs because of what was lost, including:
* Replacement of destroyed furniture, clothing, and essential items
* Home office and medical supplies/equipment
* Temporary housing and utility expenses
* Legal and housing stabilization assistance
*Other costs and filings related to our residence
As a collegiate and post-collegiate wrestler, and with my sister—an injured nurse—still caring for our elderly mother and my autistic sister, were doing everything we can to keep our family strong.
Your generosity will help stabilize our situation and allow us to continue serving the communities that have always been our focus.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to restoring stability and renewing hope.
Thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting us during this heartbreaking time. We will keep this page updated as the situation evolves.
With gratitude,
Terrance and The Parks Family
