Update:
I am done with treatment and as of right now cancer free. I will have to have a colonoscopy in January and make sure I am all good. I am regaining strength. I am starting to eat normal again. My hair is slowly growing back.
Thank you all for you love and support. Words can not express what this means to us. This was a rough journey but I kicked cancers Butt.
On Wednesday, August 14th, Terra Hetelle (41) was transported by ambulance to the hospital due to uncontrollable bleeding. Doctors ordered an emergency colonoscopy and imaging that would reveal a golf ball sized mass that was determined to be cancerous. In the following days, she began chemotherapy and radiation. If after 5 weeks the tumor is still there, they will attempt to surgically remove it. In the midst of this horrible news, Matt and Terra also received news that they needed to get a new well drilled and pay for costly repairs to their septic field. Terra and Matt have always been someone who would give the shirt off their back to help others. Now, it's our turn to show them the same kindness and support. We are raising funds to help cover their medical expenses, support their daily needs during this difficult time, and provide some relief to the financial pressures they are facing. Terra, Matt, Harlyn, and Aspyn are a strong family, who are going to fight for Terra to be cancer free. All proceeds will go to Terra and Matt Hettle. Thank you for taking the time to read Terra’s story and for considering a donation.
