Teddy is a bright, funny and courageous 6-year-old little boy, beloved son to Kat and Alastair, and proud big brother to Rupert.
At such a young age, Teddy has already faced more than any child ever should.
After being diagnosed with neuroblastoma, Teddy endured an incredibly difficult 18 months of intensive treatment. Through it all, he showed extraordinary resilience and strength. Following treatment, Teddy finally got to start living life as a little boy again — returning to school, spending time with friends and family, and enjoying the normality his family had fought so hard for.
For 2 years and 4 months, Teddy was in remission.
His family finally began to breathe again.
Devastatingly and unexpectedly, Teddy has now relapsed.
Relapsed neuroblastoma is notoriously difficult to treat, and there is currently no standard treatment pathway in the UK. Teddy has now enrolled onto a clinical trial, and his family are once again facing the unimaginable reality of childhood cancer treatment.
The emotional and financial impact of this is enormous.
Living in Brighton means frequent long journeys to hospital for treatment and appointments. Costs for travel, parking, accommodation, meals away from home and day-to-day living mount up incredibly quickly. At the same time, maintaining normal work and family life while caring for a critically ill child becomes almost impossible.
After already enduring so much, we would love to help ease some of the pressure this wonderful family now faces.
Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards supporting Teddy and his family through treatment and helping relieve some of the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time.
And if you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page. Every share helps us reach more people who may be able to support Teddy’s journey.
Thank you so much for your kindness, support and generosity ❤️
