Support Team Loki

As many of you know Loki was started back in 2012 when it was just Phil and Vic running the show. All those years ago we had a vision that would form into Loki Wine as it is now, where we employ 15 people over two sites in the City Centre and Edgbaston. We are proud to say that we think we have made a difference in the wine scene and independent scene in Birmingham over this time, and our fantastic staff have worked tirelessly to make sure that we get great quality wines in to the hands of the thirsty Birmingham public.

What help do we need?

As a small independent business, we simply do not have the resources to weather this current storm, and our staff are understandably worried and scared that they will not be able to survive this time. We are doing all that we can to keep everyone working for as long as possible, but the reality is simple; if we are not able to operate as a business, we cannot afford to pay our staff. It has taken many years to curate Team Loki, and we're very much a family. Many of you know our various staff members well, and know how invaluable they are to us.

Our motto has always been 'We are more than just a wine shop, we're a wine community', and now we find ourselves faced with the real possibility that we may not be able to survive this current situation, and so we are looking to the community that has been with us throughout our journey, and asking for your support.


How can you help?

Any donation, no matter how small or large, will go towards helping our team members survive the coming weeks. All the money will go towards keeping staff employed.

If you don't wish to donate, you can still help us by continuing to support our business by purchasing gift cards and buying tickets for future tasting events, and continuing to buy wine, or simply sharing our posts on social media.

We are offering free same day local delivery in a 5 mile radius, and free next day delivery for orders over £70 via courier for people who live further away.  So, you can continue to support us by buying wine and we will deliver it your door. The important thing for us is that we can still bring money into the business, so that we can continue to pay our team, and ensure that they all have a job once the situation has levelled out.
