I was recently diagnosed with grade 2 Endometrial Cancer. I was told by my medical team that I would need a hysterectomy and possible chemotherapy/radiation treatments in the future. With the help of the hospital, I was put on insurance from the marketplace. Unfortunately, the insurance will not cover 100% of my care. I will still need to pay approximately $3300 out of pocket for medical care/visits, while the rest will cover medical equipment/care items and lost wages for my caretaker at home.
