I hate to do this. It honestly goes against everything that I stand for , however I feel like I have taken on raising her and the continual lawyer fees to renew guardianship every year becomes excessive. It's an extra expense that I really can't afford. I can pay for her and take care of her but to pay an extra two to three grand a year on top of everything is a lot. If anyone is willing to help out on the expense of lawyer fees for her to continue to have her lifestyle and the best home for her , I would greatly appreciate any help. Again I really hate to ask. But I also can't afford it on a regular yearly basis which is when we have to renew. I would adopt her except that we are second removed which means I would have to go through foster care and get approval through an entire process. I would also have to track down her father and get him to sign off rights which is not something that is happening. My aunt brought her to me and said to give her the best life. That's what I plan to do.And that's what I have done. She has lived with me since she was two. I have covered these expenses every year and I'm honestly finding them to be exhausting and disgusting. Any contributions would be amazing to help out in just the legal fees. Because this is a reoccurring fee that I have to deal with every year and do all of the paperwork on top of raising her.
