When local farmers markets struggle, communities struggle. Families lose access to fresh, affordable food. Small farms lose vital income. And neighbors lose the gathering place that builds real connection.
But when farmers markets thrive, communities thrive.
Last year, The TaSH Farmers Market was more than a place to shop: it was a lifeline.
- When the federal SNAP shutdown left families without food assistance, we didn't sit back. We provided emergency support to 95 community members and raised over $7,000 to bridge the gap.
- We doubled (and tripled) SNAP benefits for 197 cardholders, putting more than $18,000 worth of fresh, local food on their tables.
- We donated 4,500 pounds of produce to local food pantries, reaching over 500 families who needed it most.
- We hosted 60+ local musicians and ran weekly kids' activities, turning Saturday mornings into a place where neighbors actually became friends.
But none of this happens without the infrastructure to keep the market running.
Stand with The TaSH Farmers Market as we open our 2026 season. Your support now helps us build on what we accomplished last year and serve our community even better in the months ahead.
