We are joyfully raising funds to create a master copy of the Tara Buddha Mantra — oṃ tāre tuttāre ture svāhā— on nanofilm, to join the existing Mani and Vajra Guru nanofilms.

According to the Buddha’s teachings, the Tara Buddha mantra brings swift and immeasurable blessings to all who hear or recite it, dispelling fear and heavy obstacles, and freeing sentient beings from all manner of physical and mental illnesses. Venerable Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche has often encouraged practitioners to recite the Vajra Guru and Tara mantras together to magnify spiritual protection, healing, and realization in these challenging times.

This new Tara Buddha nanofilm master copy will enable prayer wheel makers to include billions of Tara mantras within prayer wheels of all sizes. Since the formula for the Vajra Guru mantra master copy was perfected earlier this year, the Tara version can now be completed much more quickly. The Vajra Guru mantra nanofilm will be available for purchase beginning November 20th. Thus, in response to the aspirations of prayer wheel makers and practitioners, we are hurrying to make this Tara mantra nanofilm available.

As with the Vajra Guru nanofilm, the first $5,000 will fund the creation of the master copy and metal cylinder, and the second $5,000 will support mass duplication of the mantra by our dedicated team in India.

We are kickstarting this project on sacred Lha Bab Düchen Day on Nov. 11th, when the merit of virtuous actions is multiplied one hundred million times.
