Hey there, my name is Sari and I'm raising funds for a gorgeous family I'm supporting through the peri and postnatal time.

Tara is a mother and a Ngyiyampaa and Kamilaroi yinnar, an Aboriginal woman, about to birth her second baby on beautiful Gumbaynggirr Country. Her partner Logan and her three year old are also well loved and known in the Bellingen community. Theirs is a generous, kind and highly community driven family.

I'm raising funds to make sure these guys are feeling materially resourced and emotionally supported by having finances to cover the basics like rent, good food, child care, bills and any additional supported needed during the postnatal period so that Tara has the opportunity to rest, bond and integrate into her next phase of motherhood.

This is a mutual aid opportunity to contribute to a culture or care that nurtures women and especially Aboriginal mothers to experience ease and thriving during this sensitive postpartum time. We know the gap keeps widening in many areas of Aboriginal health and this is a direct way to help change that and foster better outcomes.
